Clyde Valley Detailing is an independent family owned company, operated by car enthusiast Lachlan Chalmers who has over 13 years experience in car detailing gained through working in the motor trade and from his hobby of preparing and showing his own cars at Concourse level. The company provides a high profile specialist service to owners of Classic, modern classic, sports and prestige vehicles where care, expertise and knowledge is of the up most importance in caring for your pride and joy.
 
 A wide range of services are available including paintwork correction, enhancement and protection, as well as new car & showcar detailing, engine detailing, convertible hood care and Matte paint finishes.   We can also repair minor paintwork scuffs, scratches and vandalism contamination. Since 2008 we have built an impressive portfolio of clients and a reputation for sheer excellence and meticulous attention to detail.  All our services are completed to our own very high standards using only the very best products suited to the individual vehicle, not just one specific manufacturer, this ensures a finish that produces head turning results.
 
 Car detailing is often perceived as just paintwork, however we feel it is about overall presentation of a vehicle to the very highest of standards and this is why all our details include interior detailing which not only represents a complete professional service but also outstanding value for money.
 
Due to the very high standards we aim achieve we do not offer a mobile service of any kind, all detailing services are completed at our fully insured & equipped secure workshop located just outside Biggar, South Lanarkshire, with easy access from the M74 motorway. A collect and delivery service is available or we can arrange a drop off service if you bring the car to us at no extra cost. 
 
 For your convenience we welcome card payments on site using the latest handheld chip and pin terminal.

Vehicle assessment & quote                                                      
 
 All our detailing services require a free, no obligation vehicle appraisal & client consultation prior to work commencing where we will discuss the most appropriate processes and products suited to individual vehicle condition and customer requirements. Please ensure you vehicle is clean in order for us to identify previous paintwork repairs and other defects such as orange peel, dust nibs etc. We will then be able to provide an accurate quotation based on individual requirements.  This service is only available at our premises to allow us to inspect paintwork under an array of "full spectrum" fluorescent lighting.
 
Detailing Services                                                                  
 
  Detailing follows on where basic car valeting stops, it is a labour intensive service that requires skill, patience and emphasis focused on proper preparation and adequate time given to apply the various high quality products.  Vehicles are cleaned to the very highest of standards first to ensure that maximum effect from the final products used is achieved.   We guarantee outstanding results on all detailing services and the job will not be signed off until both the client and ourselves are totally satisfied. We do not offer a basic car valeting service.
